We built Europe's first competitive hackathon league. Teams score points at every match, the standings follow them across the season, and the top 15 meet in the Grand Finale. Our Makeathon was Match 1.

Our flagship. A weekend in which students and young professionals build AI for problems that companies, hospitals and research labs bring. It is free to take part, and our Makeathon team runs it from start to finish.

17 to 19 April. 101 teams on challenges from HappyRobot, Spherecast, osapiens and Reply. The first match of the European Hackathon League.

25 to 27 April. Challenges from CHECK24 and Reply and an open track by OpenAI, with QuantCo, Jane Street and Entrepreneur First.
Makeathon 2024

27 to 30 April. On the Garching campus, with ESA, Microsoft, the BMW Group, G-Research, Cohere and Daiki.
AI for Global Impact

30 September to 2 October. A hybrid edition with Microsoft, Roche, IBM and TNG Consulting.

22 to 24 April. Challenges in education, environment and medtech from Infineon, Deloitte, NetApp and MI4People.
Virtual Makeathon
2021
15 to 17 October. A virtual 48-hour edition with Microsoft and appliedAI. Team Cabalytics won with CabMate, which predicts where taxis will be needed across the city.
GPT-3 Makeathon
2021
16 to 18 April. The first Makeathon, built on GPT-3 with OpenAI, appliedAI and TUM Venture Labs, and judged by a jury from Cherry Ventures, Microsoft and IBM.
